The Sleeping Sorceress, Michael Moorcock (Quartet, 1974)

This one is my copy. Elric is the best. My love for Elric is deep and true.
There are some great chapter titles in this book: “Pale Prince on a Moonlit Shore,” “Things Which Are Not Women.”

This book is the very first Moorcock book I ever read (in this printing with this title and cover art), purchased from a second-hand bookshop in Evesham, Worcs. in about 1985 alongside a copy of Stormbringer. I didn’t know at the time but this is not it’s usual title, the book is more commonly known as The Vanishing Tower.
